Nemas aktualni verzi OpenBSD a zrovna se to dost tyka i iwn. Jednak se pridavala podpora pro 6205, ale kdyz se podivas i na predposledni upravu pred sedmi dny, tak se tykaly zmeny i rady 5000, takze doporucuju zkouset opravdu na aktualni verzi.

Ja mam opacny problem. Prubezne zkousim NetBSD, DragonFlyBSD a veci zalozene na Solaris, plus s dalsima i pracuju a nejak vsude ocekavam alespon trochu podobnou stabilitu a kde nic tu porad nic :-(

Jinak prepinani console....od toho je v zakladnim systemu tmux aby se vyuzila pokud mozna jedna konzole naplno. Spouste lidi treba nevyhovuje moznost zmeny rozliseni text console a tak jsou stejne v X. Ale jinak to prepinani CTRL+ALT+F1 je snad skoro vsude stejne. Na FreeBSD je to jinak? Docela by mne to prekvapilo, protoze i v Dfly to je stejne.

Jsem si musel v Linuxu zkusit o cem to vlastne tady mluvite :-) Fakt to tam jde i pres ALT+Fn. To proc to tak je plati jak jsem psal. Je to diky wscons a tomu, ze OpenBSD vzniklo z  NetBSD. I tak ve mne porad hloda cervicek zvedavosti proc to tak tehdy nastavili. Urcite v tom bude nejaky historicky duvod.

Sice je to porad jen pocatecni podpora, ale uz mam 23fps a ne 7fps jak predtim, videa v mplayer -vo x11 uz jedou v pohode vcetne zvuku, html5 videa na webech taky, rozhrani v X uz je taky v pohode. Jupiiiii :-)

Stahl jsem si zdrojaky z CVS a prekompiloval kernel. Chova se to porad stejne...

Kdyz uz jsem mel ty zdrojaky, prekompiloval jsem si kernel s -DIWN_DEBUG a pridal par ladicich vypisu. Uvidime, jestli se mi podari na neco prijit . Jinak, problem muze byt uplne v necem jinem (DMA, IRQ atd...).

eh proc kompilace, kdyz jde delat binarni upgrade? Jinak pokud jsi kompiloval zdrojaky, tak userland a xenocara jsi doufam zkompiloval taky ;-)

U tebe v dmesg tam ma jen ioapic nejake kecy, ktere jsou ale automaticky dle vseho napraveny. Nicmene predpokladam, ze BIOS mas posledni aktualni a ze nejaka prapodivna volba v nem to nezpusobuje. Obecne na misc@ mas vetsi sanci rychleho vyreseni, tady jsem sam :-)

1) stahni novejsi bsd.rd z snapshots adresare na nejakem mirroru
2) sudo cp bsd.rd /
3) reboot
4) v boot promptu
boot>boot /bsd.rd
5) vyber (U)pgrade misto install a rid se tim co pise, proste mackej enter :-)
6) reboot
7) sysmerge -s tvuj_mirror_pro_snapshoty/etc50.tgz -x tvuj_mirror_pro_snapshoty/xetc50.tgz

vetsinu udela automaticky, co ne, tak je na tobe, reknes mu, ze chces merge tve upravy a noveho konfig, na obrazovce ti zacne ukazovat rozdily a ty jen mackas klavesu l nebo r podle toho jestli chces mit v tom vyslednem konfiguraku veci z leve strany (tvoje) nebo z prave (ty nove), pak si to muzes znovu prohlidnout nebo nainstalovat tu mergnutou "vec"

Zni to strasidelne a sloziteji nez to ve skutecnosti je. Realne to zabere tak cca 15min a behem toho jen mackas enter, pijes kafe a koukas na obrazovku :-)
