For one of our project for our biggest client, international financial institution, we are looking for
Senior Support Engineer with advanced English.
As a team member you will:
• Be responsible for environments and managing those environments
• Responsible for the database infrastructure, providing DBA support and advice to the development teams.
• Provide plumbing tools for the environment written in various scripting languages (monitoring tools, scripts, etc)
• Provide advice and support for the Unix infrastructure
• Support the development teams through provision of shared services (continuous integration, source code control, UAT releases, production releases, Websphere)
• Work in a team following agile development practices such as Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Time Boxed Iterative Development
• Provide input into the standards and processes in use within LRC IT
• Work with remote client/team resources
• Perform and manage releases to UAT environments
Key requirements:
• Unix scripting
• Knowledge of application servers: weblogic, tomcat, apache, etc.
• Configuration and application build knowledge
• Experience of oracle database admin
• Capable of managing releases, which will involve working Saturday's as required
