tak proc mu tam nenapisete kritiku co povazujete v clanku za spatne ? on pokud to ma hlavu a patu tak klidne upravi clanek uz to nekolikrat udelal staci procit tu diskuzi pod cankem ja mu taky psal pod jinym nickem ale ne to co ma upravit/odstranit z clanku ale co ma jeste pridat , jinak clanek neustale aktualizuje podle aktualniho stavu .. on sam i kdyz je velky kritik linuxu tak linux pouziva snad vyhradne ...

A proč bych to proboha dělal? Šance, že by Birdie uznal jakoukoliv z mých námitek je dost minimální a mně je vlastně úplně ukradené, co si nějaký chlápek píše na svém webu. Svět je pořád dostatečně svobodný na to, aby si Arťom mohl na svém webu psát o čem chce a jak chce, co mi dává právo mu do toho kecat? Mám určitě daleko lepší možnosti, jak světu svobodného softwaru pomoci než se pouštět do žabomyších válek s Arťomem, jejichž výsledkem bude nanejvýš pár odstavců textu a ten sám o sobě žádné problémy nevyřeší. To si raději vezmu nějaký nepřiřazený bugreport a zkusím to opravit...

First of all, I would love you to stop talking quite unpleasant things about me. Behind my back. That sucks.

Secondly, my website clearly says this: "Additions to and well-grounded critics of this list are welcomed." However you chose to ignore that.

Thirdly, your might have noticed over 1500 comments and strangely when people find inaccuracies or offer new pieces of information I remove or add appropriate things right almost right away.

Fourthly, as a Linux fan you might have found a piece or two you don't really agree with. Again here's what article has in store for you: "A lot of people who are new to Linux or those who use a very tiny subset of applications are quick to disregard the entire list saying things like, "Audio in Linux works just fine me." or "I've never had any troubles with video in Linux." Guess what, there are thousands of users who have immense problems because they have a different set of hardware or software."

Fifthly, do me a favour and find what's exactly wrong under:

Lastly,

Linux has had less than 2% on the desktop since ... 1991? Do you know why? Maybe because the things I'm writing about actually have some merit. Maybe they are indeed true, considering:

• Lackluster hardware support
• API/ABI breakage all the time
• Fast release cycles
• Applications upgrades tied to distros
• No universal packaging mechanism
• Hundreds of incompatible distros
• Practically zero AAA games with rare exceptions and very few software titles needed for SOHO, e.g. MS Office, Corel Suite, Adobe Suite, 3DS Max, etc. etc. etc.

etc. etc. etc.
