Naskyntul se problém při instalaci ubuntu 10.04 (i 10.10) na tenhle stroj:

Konkrétně u bodu kdy se začne na hdd zapisovat.

Od rána se v tom hrabu, můžete mě nějak nasměrovat kde je chyba? Hledal sem různě po forech a nic. Je možný že za to může mech. poškožení hdd? Díky.

No ak to niejee nejake SW vada tak by som to tipoval na ten HDD. Ked tam davas to Ubuntu, skus ho nabootovvat do grafickeho rezimu a priano v ubunte je Disky Utiliy, alebo ako sa to vola. Tam si mozes pozriet SMART status a zistit ci tam nejmas nejake vadne clustery.

Dále se zmenšila velikost disku (hdd ukazuje kapacitu o cca 50gb menší) při manipulaci v gparted live / parted magic live. Na 90% si myslím že je to hdd. Může mi to někdo vyvrátim / potvrdit z toho výpisu? Díky.

Vypalte knoppix, nabootujte (nejlepe do textoveho rezimu), pustte badblocks. Melo by to jit i pustit na dane zarizeni, nejen urcity oddil, tedy badblocks -ws /dev/hdd . Pozor, volba -w zdevastuje data na disku a uz se k nim nedostane asi ani CIA.
Pokud to projde, rozdelte disk pomoci cfdisk a vytvorte ext4 rucne. Zkuste nainstalovat Ubuntu a vynechejte kroky deleni disku a formatovani.

Zmensenie kapacity nieje nic neobvykle, ak je to novy disk. Aj moj 1TB nema 1tera ale len 9xxGB. To su len reklamne bachorky predajcov :) Skusil by som to rozdelit pod inym systemom ako tu uz bolo pisane, samemu mi to niekedy pomohlo a starucky PCRlinux mi par krat usetril vela nervov. Otazne vsak je ci nehodi chybu pri naslednej instalacii, ked bude potreba vytvorit tabulku rozdelenia diskov. Za skusku to vsak stoji.

Zapnul jsem badblocks tak zítra to snad už doběhne :D jinak reklamace, disk mám tři dny. To zmenšení je tím, že když jsem rozděloval disk při pokusech nainstalování tak některý partions potom zmizely, a gparted je nevidí.

Tak badblocks 45h ale příliš mi to nepomohlo. Hážu sem jen odkaz ať na screen abych nebyl za úplnýho idiota.

Rád by už to pc zprovoznil, zkoušel sem nainstalovat Xp co mám doma ale taky bez šance. Zamrzne.
Poslat disk na reklamaci? (nevím jak dlouho reklamace trvá u disku atd, ideální by byla výměna na místě ale nedělám si iluze).

Chtěl jsem objednat rovnou nový hdd abych nečekal na reklamaci ale ten nárůst cen je nářez. Z 1 399,72 Kč na 2 305,70 Kč za necelý týden....

Vyřešeno.
Reklamoval jsem disk v softcomu a vše už funguje bezproblému.

Občas se stane, s tím nic nenaděláš, jinak doporučím na zjišťování závat je skvělé distro system rescue cd. Není špatné to mít vždy při ruce. Jen nechápu, jak je možné, že jsem toto vlákno přehlédl? :-D Jo jo, disky jsou teď dost vysoko vyšroubované a lepší časy v nedohlednu. Teď je ta doba, kdy se zvažuje HDD, nebo SSD.
